Maropene Ramabina is an experienced Information Services Manager at North-West University, South Africa, with a robust academic foundation in Law and Library and Information Science. I hold a BA Law degree along with advanced qualifications in LIS, and have held diverse professional roles including cataloguer, law librarian, and audio-visual archivist.

Throughout my career, I have been an active participant in the international and regional information science community, presenting and attending conferences such as IFLA, ZIMLA, ICIL, and various AI symposiums. He is also actively involved in leadership within LIASA (Library and Information Association of South Africa) and OSALL (Organisation of South African Law Libraries).
