Mr. Andrew E. Ennis

Andrew E. Ennis is the Faculty Librarian for the Arts at the University of the Western Cape, where he provides dedicated support for research, teaching, and learning within the arts disciplines. He holds two master’s degrees from the University of Cape Town: a Master of Arts in Literature and Modernity, and a Master of Philosophy with a specialization in Digital Curation.

A professionally registered librarian with the Library Association of South Africa, Andrew is actively involved in library outreach and advocacy, participating in national initiatives such as South African Library Week. His professional interests lie at the intersection of literature, digital preservation, and user engagement.

Outside of his academic role, Andrew enjoys long-form RPG video games, delving into science fiction literature, and cultivating his garden — pursuits that reflect his appreciation for imagination, strategy, and growth.
