Dr Oyemike Victor Benson

Dr. Oyemike Victor Benson is a seasoned Library and Information Science (LIS) practitioner and educator based in the Department of Library and Information Science at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D., Master of Library Science (MLS), and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Library and Information Science.

With a rich academic and professional background, Dr. Benson’s research and teaching interests span across a broad spectrum of LIS domains, including Technologies in Library and Information Science, Corporate Social Responsibility, Knowledge Management, Marketing of Information Services, and Community Librarianship. His work reflects a deep commitment to advancing library services and promoting inclusive access to information within communities.

Dr. Benson continues to contribute to the field through research, curriculum development, and professional engagement, shaping the next generation of LIS professionals in Nigeria and beyond.
