Ms. Biziwe Temba is the Director of Library User Services at the Vaal University of Technology Libraries, where she provides strategic leadership and oversight for the unit responsible for supporting the university’s teaching, learning, and research endeavors. In her role, she ensures the delivery of effective, professional, and proactive reference and information services to the university community.
With over 20 years of experience as an academic librarian, Ms. Temba brings deep expertise in library leadership and management, and is committed to aligning library services with evolving academic needs. Her professional interests include knowledge management, academic library leadership, the implications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution for academic libraries, and marketing and user engagement in the academic library context.
