Dr Samuel S. Ncoyini

Dr. Samuel Ncoyini is the Deputy Director of Library and Information Services at Walter Sisulu University, based in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Information Systems from the University of Fort Hare and brings a wealth of experience from leadership and specialist roles across several prominent South African institutions, including the University of Fort Hare, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, University of the Western Cape, and the University of Cape Town.

With a strong foundation in library and information science, Dr. Ncoyini’s expertise spans electronic resource management, cataloging, information management, and the broader spectrum of academic library services.
