Ms. Nompumelelo Khanyile

Nompumelelo Khanyile is a passionate and dedicated qualified Librarian (Acting) with over fifteen years of experience at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Throughout her career, she has witnessed and contributed to numerous innovations and improvements in library services, enhancing both the university’s offerings and her own professional skills.

In her current role, Nompumelelo plays a key part in supporting students and academic staff by providing research assistance, information guidance, and access to vital resources. She takes pride in helping members of the university community navigate and effectively use the library’s services.

What she finds most fascinating about working in an academic library is the specialized jargon used across various disciplines and the opportunity to engage with people from diverse academic backgrounds.
