 Dr Notice Paspamire, Ph.D., is the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Zimbabwe. A seasoned academic and administrator,  Dr Notice Paspamire has over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and departmental leadership within the field of Library and Information Science.

As Head of Department, he is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the department. This includes supervising academic programs, ensuring quality teaching and learning, chairing departmental board meetings, supporting staff development, and overseeing the implementation of strategic plans. He also leads the preparation of departmental reports and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with the university’s broader mission and goals.

In his role as a Senior Lecturer,  Dr Notice Paspamire has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including research methods and data analysis, project management, online information retrieval, information theory, and more. His teaching approach emphasizes analytical thinking, innovation, and the practical application of information science principles.

 Dr Notice Paspamire’s research interests span library and information science education, artificial intelligence in LIS, indigenous knowledge systems, research methodology, and research support services. He has contributed significantly to these areas through scholarly publications and active involvement in professional networks.
