Mr. Nkululeko Magwaza

Mr. Nkululeko Magwaza is a librarian at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), with qualifications in Engineering, Management, and Information Studies, all obtained from UKZN. He is a passionate advocate for open science, specialising in research data management (RDM). His professional development includes the RDMLA by Simmons University, UN courses on digital transformation and SDGs integration, and AI skills from ALX. As an IFLA Library SDG Pledger, he promotes Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through library services and is a member of LIASA. Mr. Magwaza also represented South Africa as a delegate at the World Science Forum 2022, contributing to discussions on African knowledge democracy and social justice.
