 Professor Wole Michael Olatokun

Professor Wole Michael Olatokun is a distinguished scholar in the field of Information Science, with over two decades of teaching and research experience across Nigeria and Botswana. He holds both Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Information Science from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Prof. Olatokun is an Honorary Professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His academic and research contributions span a wide array of topics, including National ICT Policy Analysis, Social Informatics, Information Ethics, Gender and ICT, Knowledge Management, e-Government, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.

He is widely recognized for advancing the understanding of how information systems and technologies intersect with societal development, governance, and cultural knowledge preservation.
