May Chang is the IT Director at the University of Cincinnati Libraries, United States, with over 15 years of experience in information and communication technology (ICT) and libraries. Her professional and research interests span the digital transformation of organizations, immersive technologies for teaching, learning, and research, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT) and the development of smart and connected communities.
Driven by a commitment to innovation and impact, she advocates for the strategic use of technology to connect people and serve as a catalyst for positive change in society and citizen well-being.
May is actively engaged in the global library community through the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), where she serves as a Mentor in the IT Section, a member of the Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group (AI SIG), and a committee member of the Library Buildings and Equipment Section. Additionally, she contributes her expertise to the field as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Library Hi Tech.
